See you again, maybe!

Highly recommended! I wanted to add an extra day to my week in Samoens and booked this last minute. If you would like to stay in the most idyllic cosy chalet in a lovely, authentic and non-touristy village with warm hosts - this is the place for you. Digby and Mary were very, very welcoming. The room and house has everything you need - even a piano if you err on the musical side.

I liked skiing in Sixt away from the queues that you get in the other parts of the Grand Massif. You can apparently ski back to the garden, if the roads are still snowy. The area is much less busy than Tignes, Morzine etc and unlike Val D'Esere, the people here have all the idea and the gear rather than just the latter...

Samoens is also bustling with live music and great bars. I can also recommend the Feuille D'Erable within walking distance of the chalet - great for some good old local mountain food and fish!

Although it’s in a chalet, the room has an nice Asian feel to it and was very relaxing. It is also much better value than anything else I could find. I will be back! Thank you, Digby and Mary.
